Single-Print Mechanics

When I upgraded my 3D printing capabilities, I wanted to do a quick test of a single-print ball joint. So I designed the following ball joint with a small void between the two parts. After printing this piece I was able to work the two parts free and a ball joint was born. This can be useful in larger builds requiring motion.
