Custom Scaled Traffic Light

Built for the Macy's Holiday Windows program, this piece was part of a forced-perspective street scene — storefronts, lit signage, and an intersection, all scaled to create the illusion of depth within the window.

No off-the-shelf traffic light existed at the scale the scene called for, so the fix was to design one from scratch: working out the scale conversions, modeling each part, and 3D printing the finished components. The light post itself was built from round tube stock to match. The electronics department handled the wiring and lighting, bringing the finished piece to life as a working part of the display.
