In 2021, When I was working as a project manager, my company was awarded a project for the New Museum, specifically a piece for an Ed Atkins exhibit. It was giant wooden box-room (24’x13’x10’ LxDxH). We designed this with two layers of offsetting 3/4” plywood, reinforced the ceiling with steel square-tube framing and installed brackets at the floor and ceiling from front to back to help strengthen the joints making it safe for museum guests to interact with the piece.

For my role, I worked with the artist to secure a plan to achieve his vision, and completed the technical drawings . I oversaw the preparation, assembly, installation and strike, seeing this project through from concept to packing and storage.
